The Heart Behind the Practice

This practice was born from both personal healing and clinical expertise. Each session reflects my commitment to offering the kind of care I once needed—private, purposeful, and grounded in real understanding."

Meet Ariel De’Freeze

Smiling Black therapist during telehealth session — Offering trauma-informed care for life stress and betrayal in New Albany (43054).

I am Ariel De’Freeze, LISW-S, a licensed therapist with a clinical specialization and a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) candidate. I’m also a mother and a survivor of complex emotional experiences—someone who understands the courage it takes to seek support. With over seven years in clinical practice, I specialize in treating women navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship distress, betrayal, grief, and emotional exhaustion. My approach is both clinically grounded and relational, offering strategic, trauma-informed care in a space built on trust, compassion, and clarity. My commitment is to help women move through what they've been carrying and into emotional health that truly lasts.

The Values That Shape Our Care

This space specializes in supporting women navigating high-functioning lives while carrying quiet emotional fatigue. We welcome those facing silent battles, burnout, or relationship strain—offering more than surface-level care. While our expertise centers on women’s mental health, all are welcome to receive thoughtful, trauma-informed support here.

  • We understand how trauma rewires the nervous system, distorts self-perception, and impacts relationships. We meet that with precision and compassion.

  • our story doesn't exist in a vacuum. We honor your culture, history, identity, and lived experience with care that reflects that truth.

  • We don’t just help women cope—we help them break cycles, rewrite narratives, and position themselves and their families for emotional and generational healing.

  • You deserve more than surface-level support or therapy with a rotating door. This is personalized, high-quality care delivered with consistency and respect.

  • Healing begins with safety. Here, there is no judgment, no pressure—only space to be held, seen, and supported.

  • Whether or not faith is a focus of your care, we understand its role in healing and hold space for what grounds and guides you.

  • We show up with our full selves—honest, clear, and deeply committed to walking with you in both clinical skill and human respect.

Our How We Deliver Care

Therapy at The Ariel De’Freeze Counseling Collective™ is designed to fit into your life, not compete with it. We offer:

  • In-home appointments may be available based on clinician availability, travel distance, and the time of the appointment requested. These factors help ensure accessibility and maintain a consistent standard of care for all clients.

  • Thoughtfully designed in collaboration with you—ensuring your care plan aligns with your goals, honors your pace, and reflects your lived experience.

  • We honor your time with intentional scheduling, protect your privacy with discretion, and meet you with care that aligns with your emotional readiness and personal pace.

  • Delivered through secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure the highest level of confidentiality and clinical professionalism.

Our model allows you to receive expert-level care without the inconvenience, stress, or delays that often come with traditional therapy models.
